This recital of Irish music song and Dance was staged in the Regentes Theater, The Hague, Netherlands in June 2010 and brought to you by the Kilkenny School of Irish Dance which began in The Hague in 2003. Sean Kilkenny TCRG, originally from Galway- Ireland, founded the school as a result of  a growing demand among Dutch dancers to learn Irish dance.  The school developed fast and is highly successful - currently holding four Mainland European Championship titles.

It is astounding to watch the level attained by Dutch dancers with no ties to Ireland or its general culture. This show is a celebration of our achievements so far plus a true indication  of the impact which shows like Riverdance and Lord of the Dance have made, inspiring people from diverse cultures to learn more about the world of Irish dance.

Featuring 50 dancers, singer Sharon Bradley plus a host of local musicians this show depicts many aspects of Irish Culture displaying both tradition and modernity while staged in a land far removed from its roots.  We hope you enjoy what we do and look forward to seeing you at our next recital.
