Boys in Motion - Hollands Got Talent.
Well done to Denzel Roy and Stefan who made it to the semie-finals of this popular Dutch TV programme. Since then they have performed widely and were recent guests at Gordons TV Dinner Show. They placed 7th in the Top Ten Irish Dance Videos for 2011.
Denzel and Stefan are two original members of our dance school and have been always a huge inspiration to many dancers. Roy joined KSID over three years ago and has made fast progress ever since. We are all very proud of your great achievements this past year.

The Kilkenny School of Irish Dance is located in The Hague,Wassenaar, and Haarlem and is under the direction of Sean Kilkenny, TCRG.
Traditional Irish dance classes are available for young children (aged 4+) and adults, at all levels from beginner to advanced. Dancers are encouraged to compete at local and international competitions. To date, our dancers have competed at the All Ireland, Great Britain, British Nationals, European and World Championships.
We currently hold four Mainland European Championship titles. Our Show Group, Kilkennyontap, are always busy performing at a variety of events from local festivals to even national and international events. Kilkenny School of Irish Dance is registered with An Coimisiun le Rinci Gaelacha (Irish dancing Commission) in Dublin, Ireland.
Those wishing to join this coming season can now register. Classes begin first week in September, 2011.

International Irish Dancing Competition.
A Day out for ALL THE fAMILY!
On Feb 4th and 5th our dance school will host our annual Irish dancing competition in The Hague. This is Open to dancers from all schools
registered worldwide with The Commission of Irish Dancing. Over 300 competitors paticipated from many different European countries last year and as a result we have decided to extend this years competitions over two days.

To fully attain our goals we are seeking potential sponsors for various dance needs and public events. To date, we receive no funding from the city council or any other cultural organisation. Irish dancing at the highest level can be a very expensive business as dancers must travel overseas for top level competitions, not to mention the expense incurred with having state of the art costumes. Presently, new school costumes are being designed by a company in Belfast and our main goal for this coming year is that all dancers will be able to afford one and wear it with pride. www.elevationdesign.ie
